Parenting Partner for Pregnancy and Postpartum

Matrescence is the transformative process a woman undergoes when becoming a mother, akin to adolescence in its complexity and significance. This period encompasses the emotional, psychological, and physical changes that occur from pre-conception through postpartum and beyond. Recognizing matrescence as a vital developmental phase helps normalize the profound shifts women experience during this time.

Our specialized Matrescence Support Services are designed to guide and empower women through this pivotal transition, offering personalized support that addresses the unique challenges and milestones of motherhood.

Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation

IECMHC provides ongoing support for early childhood programs—and any setting working with young children. Our process includes observation, screenings, reflective practice, collaborative meetings, goal setting, coaching, referrals, modeling, and psychoeducation.

Regular, continuous consultations ensure best practices that foster sustained growth. This collaborative framework equips caregivers and professionals with essential tools to promote young children’s emotional well-being and healthy development.

Reflective Consultation

Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RS/C) is a proven approach to supporting practitioners. Work with families and young children is deeply evocative and often messy. RS/C provides a non-judgmental space for practitioners to reflect on and process their work, enhancing self-awareness, decreasing burnout, and increasing overall efficacy.

This reflective space allows practitioners to explore how their own experiences influence their work, fostering empathy and deepening their understanding of the families and children they serve. RS/C has been shown to positively impact job satisfaction, professional development, and the ability to cope with job-related stress.
