Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RS/C) is a proven approach to supporting practitioners. Work with families and young children is deeply evocative and often messy. RS/C provides a non-judgmental space for practitioners to reflect on and process their work, enhancing self-awareness, decreasing burnout, and increasing overall efficacy. Sessions typically last between one and one and a half hours and occur monthly or bi-monthly, either individually or in groups. This reflective space allows practitioners to explore how their own experiences influence their work, fostering empathy and deepening their understanding of the families and children they serve. RS/C has been shown to positively impact job satisfaction, professional development, and the ability to cope with job-related stress.
